Default cheap Low beam D4S bulbs?

Why is it that Oreilly's and autozone only have $140 D4S bulbs but amazon and ebay have a million $25 D4S bulbs? Any problem with the cheap ones??

thanks

you should not need to pay more than 50 USD per bulb and you will be able to get toyota oem, OSRAM CBI etc. Just buy from shops on amazon or bay with good ratings and guarantees and you will be fine.

I pulled my original and it is a Philips D4S xeneco 42402 dot 35w. The same can be found on Amazon, sold by Philips, for $45.88

My $0.02..... Bought supposedly original Philips Xenarc bulbs on eBay, only to have them fail after 6 months. Tried cheap German-made bulbs next - same result. Didn’t want to spend $200 for the CBIs, so picked up a set of bulbs from HId concept (Dama Kanji Ultimate Vision brand, assume their in-house brand). 6 months later, they are fine. Only time will tell if they last.

the key to buying on ebay is checking to see how long they been around if they been around for years and provide a warranty they are safe to buy.... CBIs should run 100+ online from reputable places.
