Default side window glass cracked

I just find my passenger side glass has a crack half across the whole window. I can't find any sign of break in. Is this caused by temperature?

Any rocks or stones nearby on the ground close to the door?
Neighbor with a lawnmower?
Or an angry farmer from Iowa.

I am from Canada. The temperature last week is around 86F for high. Mine is 2011 LS. There is no stone on the ground. window frame and rubber stripe are not damaged.

Now the question is will you replace it with OEM glass or aftermarket?

Is there a difference? I reported to our auto insurance company and they will replace it for free .

The front side is double-pane glass. Only the outside pane is cracked.

I reported as a vandalism claim and approved by auto insurance company. You don't need to pay anything and won't affect your merits if it is vandalism in my province.

My insurance would not cover OEM Lexus glass only an “equivalent to OEM. I paid the difference and got the OEM.

I dropped the car to the body shop to get the glass replaced. The shop ordered after market glass and twice they get the single pane glass. They told me they are going to order from Lexus and it will take at least 1 week.

Good thing is I am getting OEM glass for free instead of the after market one.

I thought most of LS460 come with double pane front passenger glass, only the rear side glass is different with higher package?
