Again, that's called racing people that aren't racing you. Having 15-30 feet on someone and flooring it before they even know you're racing is not racing. Also, all of the modern Corvettes, Mustang GTs, and Camaro SS are so much faster that even if you did that, they would still stomp you if they actually raced you when you did that. Why? Because they have over a second faster 0-60 and 8+mph trap speed on you (and the newest ones have 15+mph of trap speed on you). If you've never raced a car that's had that much trap speed difference against you, it's like racing a Corolla with your LS460: it's going to train length you so fast you don't even know what happened, even if you did jump. And slowing down because they're about to gap you after you jumped them when they don't know they're racing doesn't mean you won. (Next time, go find a Camaro SS or Mustang GT that's 2011+ and tell them you want to race from a light. You'll see what happens when they actually try, and you'll realize why I'm right after they're a speck in the horizon).
So, racing people that aren't ready to race you is not a bragging right. It's just like the ricer Civics flooring it and thinking they're cool.

catching a green light is racing, just like my track days and having the best reaction time at the track
if you get out right with traction a camaro or a 400 hp older vette etc won't pull on the ls s
if your on the highway and passing its the brains and ability of the driver with the powertrain that = greatness my friend
cheers

I'm sorry, but a 101-102 mph-trapping LS460 is not going to walk away from anything other than an older 2V Mustang or a C3 Corvette. And certainly not a Modena, which is a 112-115 mph car. The only way that's happening is if you're racing people that aren't racing you. You'd probably be close with a C5 Corvette that's bone stock, as well as a 3V, but both are faster.
As much as I love surprising cars, I am perfectly aware of what cars are faster, and the newer Camaros, Mustangs, etc will gap the daylights out of you if they're actually racing you.
Also, your wheels are on backwards. The longer edge of the blade is supposed to be facing toward the front of the car.

FunFact is getting a little "revved" up on the topic, but I must agree with him. Most any modern sports car will smoke the LS460. Keeping up with a stock Subaru WRX is about as good as it will get. Beat anything faster and they weren't racing.

Just the regular K&N...A friend of mine has a shop here in town with a dyno..This thing made a nice gain with the drop in's. Not sure if the twin intakes makes a difference and it was kinda hard to figure out the reading but once he did....I was amazed..., and yes it is a noticeable gain.

Increased airflow also means decreased filtering. I wouldn't try to run 8K OCIs with those filters.
