Default 2013 LS460 Enform upgrade?

I'm currently eyeing this 2013 LS460L...everything looks great, full service records. But the Gen 7 in-dash entertainment...ehhhhhh.

What are my options regarding in-dash entertainment upgrades? Has anyone tried to MacGyver a Gen 8 in? What about Beat-Sonic's goodies? Or should I consider going all out and get the Grom?

I feel the exact same way about those 2013-2014 models. Even the 2015 was just ok with Gen 8, though better. The 2016-2017 with Gen 9 makes it look way more modern.
