Default 2013 UL 460L $29k @ 70k miles - too good to be true ?

I've been checking out this UL 460 in Houston for the past week (I'm in Austin so wasn't able to drive it yet).
And it looks like that my base 2014 l/certified 460 deal is going to fall through - so I'm at it again

https://www.autos-mobiles.net/used-c...exus/ls/p3630/
don't know what to think of it, short of the executive package it's loaded - including adaptive air suspension unfortunetely
service records show it has been in Houston the whole time - and it drove off the lot in December of 2013, otherwise nothing exciting in there beyond a dead battery.

dealer is quoting me $2100 for 4 year / 48000 mi warranty package - that's the only way I would purchase a car with air suspension, but even then
somebody please talk me out of a 5h round-trip please

oh - and the dealer looks somewhat super shady

Not at all. 23k would be too good to be true. 13+ are tanking and will get progressively worse over the next 18 months

I think that dealership is a no haggle place. Which would make sense.

So so if I end up getting extended warranty, how does it work? (obviously never did that before). Do I take it to Lexus service dept? Is that a per approval basis ?

Is there some particular issue happening with the 13+ cars or is it just your opinion that this is happening?

yeah, no **** ... I think he means age and new LS500 update. But always want to hear any long term concerns as I’m about to sell my trusted LS430

MMR on that car, adjusted for mileage, region, color, and a value-neutral CR is $25,300. Expected retail is $30,800. Jasoneo5 is absolutely correct. Values on these cars are dropping rapidly, and once that car crosses the 75k mile threshold the drop-off gets steep. That extra 6k miles drops it $1k in value and it doesn't get better. Ideally, you'd want to be no higher than $26,800 in that car max.

I know age and relatively speaking the new 500 isn’t helping for the most part. I personally completely dislike the 500 and won’t trade my 460 for one. I owned a 2003 LS430 UL and it was a great car.

I guess i am I am asking if he knows any specific reason why they are tanking as if that’s the case I will make my jump to an LX570 sooner.

Pull a cars.com search. You can get a 13+ in the low 100k mileage region for $20k after basic negotiation. If you're dead set on 2013+, I'd offer $25k and settle for $26k. Personally, I'd get a 2011 for $15k - the 2013+ grill is a bit juvenile for my taste - very IS300 taillight-esque

If you paint the center section of the 2013+ grille, it's very similar to those on the pre-2013 cars. IMO, the best $200 you can spend on the looks of the car.

saw what you mean. My issue is mine has 37k miles. So it’s still “rare” if you will for a 13’ “L”

Uhhhhh, are you sure that car doesn't have the executive package? Make note of the "rear recline" button on the center console and the memory settings on each of the rear doors. I'm a 2010 owner though so maybe those don't mean what I think they do?

No, that's the standard button for the Ultra-Luxury package. It just returns the reclining rear seats to normal position.

speaking of, noticed something odd in the dealer photos and asked for close-ups, other than the nice gentleman I have been chatting with having potato camera skills, the panel looks pushed in. UL owners, what are your thoughts ?

also, this is what the armrest looks like

is that a show stopper ?

I can't see what you are referring to. It looks just like the front and rear consoles in my 2013 U/L
