LOL @ people thinking its rice. The LS460 looks bland if you leave it stock, it needs visual mods ESPECIALLY wheels to make it look great!

Depends on what other mods you have, if you have body mods (bumpers etc) go with blue. If its just some wheels and a drop go with gold, simple and clean.

I think what needs to be clear here is that I'm not using no spray can amateur paint job to do my calipers. I've had my 370z Akebono calipers painted without needing to sand due to its very smooth surface which the LS460 has. I would not use off the shelf products to do my calipers only because i dont like the finish. My car looks like this so i think its worth it to get it done. I need something to compliment wheels.

Was silver, now black. Anyhow when the time comes, ill update the thread. Appreciate peoples input.

Upgrade your brakes or leave the color alone. Anyone who’d care instantly knows you’re spray painting them.
I appreciate your input but to be honest, your car is just stock, which is cool too but not my style. To each their own as everyone says.

Didn't know making your car your own meant looking for attention or posing. Posing would be if he put Brembo stickers on stock brakes. I'm assuming hes going to get wheels that will showcase the brakes more than stock wheels, so its better to paint them a complimenting color rather than that bland grey. haha

Everyone has their own thing, to me stock is boring, to you its ideal.

daniel1235, I was in the same boat as you. Since i'm not going full build, I think a simpler color would look best without popping too much. I honestly thought about both the colors you are deciding with with the same original picture

"posing"? Lol. So cleaning up the calipers with some paint is posing? I painted mine then added Lexus stickers on them. I did't put Lamborghini stickers, so I'm fairly certain it's not posing. When I added turn signal side view mirrors on my 08, I suppose I WAS posing as a 2010. Shame on me.

Probably going to do gold. Not Brembo gold but a little more softer like the one in the orignal picture.

Going to reach out to VIP Modular for Gold center caps.

My painter is busy for a car show coming up so my stuff is on the back burner.

Don't listen to all these squares, go with what makes you happy. Hell my calipers are painted purple right now and they look great, have got nothing but tons of compliments.

I'll be 58 in April. But my calipers are red, so I'm ok.

Forget painted calipers. I’m posing by driving a luxury car I couldn’t afford when new. I’m happy.

I'm really happy with my red calipers, just painted the rotors black, rims black, gold paint on car. Really salty at the moment need to wait until wash for pics.
