Hi guys,

i washed her my car two weeks back and right after the vsc sign came on with check engine, the hold switch and cruise We’re not functioning however the next day sign disappeared and everything was perfectly working, today I started the car and signs are back on with same problems with hold and cruise switch however the car hasn’t been in contact with water at all for past three days, what can be the reason?

I would hurry and get your steering rack checked.... check the rubber boots.. make sure the seal is tight etc.... one of my boots was damaged water went in and I had to get a refurbished one for 800 bucks so u know see if u can get on it sooner rather than later.

thanks, “check tire pressure system” error from before as well, didn’t do anything about it as my peeps said that there is nothing to worry, can it be due to that as well?

hard to say if you have multiple issues. TPMS is unrelated to other stuff but it all could be an computer thing.. only way is to get your codes read and record them and investigate... do you heard any weird noises when u turn your steering wheel, while the car is in park? any rubbing noise that is not from the tires.... close your windows...

what kind of car wash was it?

I'm going to take it to a mechanic tomorrow to check the codes however one of the mechanics have told me cofidentaly that it should be an oxygen sensor issue, lets see, no i haven't noticed and weird sounds as such.
