Default very very rough start !!! engine and transmission mounts?

So my car has been sitting for a while, the steering rack needs to be replaced or repaired, I am locating a reliable shop to do it. So there are check VCS system warning and Power steering failure warnings which was there from the start...

So when I started the car today it was VERY rough at the start... I could feel the vibration in my seat.... does not seem normal to me...then a check PCS system came up.. which is new... wtf is going on..... where is the PCS system located... how did it fail by sitting there?

And what is with the rough start do I need new engine and transmission mounts, how many are there and how do I locate the part codes, I might as well have them repaired at the same time.

A car sitting for a while, rough idle, and error codes often screams rodents. I would double check you don't have any tenants living in there!

Nothing funny about it. Two of my neighbors had serious damage caused by squirrels chewing on the wiring. Mice and rats are also attracted to the insulation on the wiring.

That happened to me last year. Bought a low mile 07, it had been mostly garaged its whole life. About a week into owning it It went into limp mode and lights came on. Took it to the local dealer and sure enough a mouse had set up shop on top of the manifold and chewed through wiring to a knock sensor. One of the issues for a stored car is rodents.

Get yourself an obd2 bluetooth dongle, it will help a lot for basic troubleshooting

https://caristaapp.com/

Take off all the engine covers and have a look for said rodent damage

Take out one of the spark plugs and visually check it

Check all connectors and wiring looms are on tight, battery also
