Exactly why I haven't used cruise control in over 20 years of driving. It is just a feature that never appealed to me. Cruise control is blind and cannot anticipate upcoming hills and changes in road conditions. I also dont like how aggressively cruise control resumes speed. It may work better in very flat States but in California, with our poor roads, I never saw cruise control as useful. In personal tests I arrived at the same conclusion as you, that I can do better than the computer.

I have driven from California to Utah, Michigan, Texas, and Missouri and still kept cruise control off. I must say I am amazed how smooth the roads are in other States. I remember crossing from Arizona back into California and the smooth road literally became broken concrete the moment I crossed the border.

Nice MPG as my 2012 LS460L city driving is getting 18 MPG with an average speed of 32 MPH.

After replacing the fuel pump in my old 1995 LS400 5 years ago, the auto mechanic mentioned he would not drive too much under 1/4 tank of fuel as gasoline can slosh around and cause air pockets to be stress pumped through along with less liquid gasoline cooling of the fuel pump, which can lead to a fuel pump failure. Refilling at around 1/4 tank also causes less worrying about being able to find a gas station before running out of gas.

In regards to your picture, the crushing range and mileage are reversed on my 2013. The crushing range is below the mileage on my car. Is the customizable?

Cruising range, yes I did proof read and my eyes saw it correctly but obviously it was not. Sorry.
