I dont want to make a build thread so ill just update one of my old threats.
Its been about a year since i bought the car and quite frankly i hate all this silver and chrome but i had no choice in the beginning. Its time for a make over!
Took off door handles, mirrors, fender lining, all door panels, rubber trims, moldings and pretty much everything necessary to get a proper paint job done including riveted trim and accents. I get so tired of working on cars.
Garage is a huge mess. i have so many nuts and bolts and guarantee i will end up with extra when i put everything back together LOL. Its always the case.
It was between vented fenders and vented hood or full paint job, decided to go with the latter so i can get my car to be pristine as there's a few scratches and dents naturally. Got my barrel swapped so all four wheels are back to being sexy! one had curbage.
almost done with my trunk set up as well. Waiting on some carbon vinyl to cover the sides. anyhow enjoy. Nothing crazy but seeing other peoples work always inspired me so hope this helps!
Getting more work done. Man this double stick tape takes forever to take off. Decreased and cleaned all door jams. Got somebody work done. Took off hood, fender, trunk and gas cap for now. Tired already and I’m doing the easy stuff.
that lip kit is really nice, how much is the paint job going to cost you ?

Its costing me quite a bit but my friends a car show painter so hes giving me a good deal. I kept procrastinating because of the cost but i cant skip a deal from him. Its going to be way better than a brand new car so decided to do it.
Will never make my money back but hey thats how it goes. Not to mention, im familiar with his work so its easier for me to decide. He did my old 370z.
I've got to ask...are you on Ohau? When I was last there (2015) the roads were in such abysmal condition that I'd think you would bottom out and tear up your car trying to drive it anywhere.

On Oahu. Our roads are so messed up. My other car is a moped and a beat down corolla which is my daily. When I drive the lexus it’s important to know which roads to take.
The other islands have great roads but Oahu roads are terrible. That’s the way it goes.
