F sport 19”

I finally scored some 19” f sport rims off eBay for my 2010 lwb awd LS460 ($1400 for good condition)... I would like to put the widest tires on as possible. Does anyone have experience with 265/40/19? Any other recommendations that won’t rub? I’ve searched the site and looked through the tires/wheels thread but looks like most of those posters are on 22s. Any help appreciated!

Arent they 8inch wide? 265 might be too much

I haven't tried 265 on a 8" wide wheel but I've done 255 on an 8" wide wheel with no issues. 265 might bulge a little but you should be fine. Just remember different tires look different even if they're the same width.
