Default Steering squeak help Please.........

Hi Guys!

We have a 2009 LS460 AWD and I'd appreciate any ideas on helping me to try and solve a problem that's been aggravating me.

When we turn the steering wheel in either direction, we have a light squeal that can be heard on the outside of the car. It's not the tires because it was doing it when it had the winters on and is still doing it with the all seasons too.

I've done a search on this forum and google to try and help, but was hoping that someone on here might have had a similar issue that they found a fix for. Besides that, you Guys probably know more about these models than some of the mechanics do.

Thanks in advance.

It could be a coupe things like the strut mounts, control arms, tierod or worn swaybar links. Get someone to turn the wheel for you the same way you would to generate the squeak. Get on the ground and also open the hood to listen for the sound. Hopefully it can be something very simple like the squeaking noise I had from spraying my worn swaybar bushing with silicon grease.
