I just can't believe that no one has ever put on new exhaust tips. I'm the only guy who needs to replace them. Amazing.....

Have you tried steel wool?

i have seen few cars where the rear bumper was taken out and was never put back right. Sensors never fit back right, top clips will break... so I would not suggest that you attemp this unless you have to.

I guess I'll just have to do it the hard way. Dammit man . Thanks.

I believe there is a thread about what to use on the tips to make them shine again. I can't recall how long ago it was though. I would probably do a search for exhaust tips.

I clean my dirty exhaust tips with chrome cleaner. It would be nice if they made a snap-on version but removing the rear bumper to replace them isn't worth the effort for me.

its really easy to take the bumper off, start with the two screws that are under tabs in your trunk then work your way under the bumper there are screws take them out... and I think there are 2 clips under the car each sides.. once done just pull the bumper out form side / its held by clips. its looks scary but honestly its really easy you can't mess it up. maybe like 45 mins job

This is just out of my comfort zone. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of rubbing and polishing the old one. Thanks for the info.
