I'm going to get my door panel areas wrapped by a local shop that another forum member used and seemed happy with. My 460L has black interior and the door panels really bother me after a couple of weeks showing oil and dirt from hands - and I'm 99% certain my car suffers from the "sticky" door panel issue which makes the appearance look even worse. It's really the only cosmetic issue on my entire car (saying a lot since it's a 2010) and it's a minimal spend to resolve the issue.
In speaking to the shop, I can pick whatever color stitching I want. The areas of the interior that are already factory-wrapped just have black stitching. Given that the upper part of the doors are leather with black stitching, should I just match that? Or should I do a (minor) contrast stitching- something like dark grey (my car is smoky granite mica)? I'm too modest to do anything like red stitching but I am interested to hear other people's opinions- especially if you have seen anyone do something after-market on black interior.
Thanks all,

I'd just match it, but I suppose grey wouldn't look out of place and might spice it up a little. I'd just be afraid it'd stand out a little too much, especially where it's not a factory stitch...let's say the stitching isn't as clean as factory, would you want that standing out? That's what I'd really be concerned about.

I would definitely match the factory stitching
Initially I wanted to go with a different color altogether for the wrap and they mistakenly color matched it to the interior. I actually was happy that they color matched to the rest of the interior. I would recommend going with the factory colors for a clean, uniform look.
