Are the air conditioner filter and cabin filter the same thing or are they 2 different filters? I replaced what I thought was the air conditioner filter, but I still have the change filter warning light coming on and the fan turns off when the message appears.

 

The light doesn't reset automatically. You need to turn the car to accessory power and hold down the AC Off button down for 4 seconds. It should reset the light.
