Steve, you are in big trouble! People are hoping this wonder stuff will solve all their car problems! That said, I am placing an order on Amazon right now to take care of that tiny rattling sound by the driver side window at highway speeds...

Yeah it's not magic elixir lol, it conditions seals. When expecting results just imagine the most conditioned seals might improve your enjoyment of the car lol

Great stuff man, thanks. One of the benefits of being part of a car forum. I'm always looking for ways to make my "old" Lexus drive like new.
It's best to put it on with heavy duty latex gloves and then I smoothed it out afterward with a wax applicator sponge. I treated the trunk and hood seals as well. My1994 beater Camry also got some treatment. I've always been using Trim shine or an odor free silicone spray on the seals. This stuff is thick and will really restore the seals.

Shin-etsued the LS yesterday ahead of a roadtrip. Did all the rubber I could find, sunroof, doors, hood, trunk (okay, not tires).
At first I couldn't tell a difference in noise around town, but once we hit freeway speeds for sure the car was even quieter than before and the seals seemed to tune out the higher frequencies better, such as going over grooved pavement sections. I had to try hard to hear tire noise and still could not. I can also attest to the car feeling more "solid". Just a great family day trip and the LS is so smooth on the freeways that it makes long-distance trips seem much shorter because you're still fresh and not tired when you arrive hours later.
Maybe there was a difference around town too because the wife and daughter were playing a game where you're supposed to describe sounds you hear, but the wife complained about how the game is hard because the LS is too quiet. Glad to have ruined the game for that reason.
Wish I had taken before and after sound pressure readings in the car but there really is a noticeable difference and I was a little skeptical at first.

I just received this from Amazon. The container has a few warnings that I'm afraid of using on the door seals because I have two little kids that might touch them and then touch their eyes or mouth. I'm thinking about returning it. Are you guys concern about the warning?

Any product like that is going to have those sorts of warnings. I never gave it a second thought. It's a part from Honda designed specifically for that purpose. Just wipe off any excess.

I wasn't too concerned. Our 6-year-old was never one to put things in her mouth. I also typically open the door for the wife and daughter so I personally don't see a way for her to come in contact with the grease. If she did, she would comment about something on her fingers and we would wipe it off with some kid wipes. I have inadvertently touched the seal a few times now and it actually doesn't stick to the skin as much as I expected and was easy to wipe away from skin. Of course I didn't leave a thick amount on the seals. It is good to have an awareness of the product warnings but I am not too concerned, and this is coming from a household that doesn't use pesticides nor insecticides like RAID.
