Default Click/pop sound- driver front wheel area

2010 460L. I occasionally hear a slight "click" or "pop" sound coming from the driver front wheel area (I can hear it from inside the car while driving). I only hear it from that side and I only hear it 1-2 times per day and always as I go to make a turn (left or right). I'm wondering if something is too tight? Anyone else have this and have any recommendations? I've only had the car for about 6 months and have noticed it the whole time I've had it - I recently took it to my Toyota service advisor for standard oil change and complete check up and they didn't mention anything (and I forgot to tell them about it). It was their first time seeing and servicing the car and all my advisor said was "the car is in awesome shape" so I'm hoping it's nothing substantial, if it's anything at all.

Thanks,

Jack your front end up with wheels off the ground
Next see if your wheel has play as in wheel bearings play..if it wobbles any u have bearing issues...
Check your control arm bushing while down there also

Thank you- I'm not a DIY type so I'll have my Service Advisor tell the Tech next time it's in for oil change.

Sounds like your lower control arm bushings are going bad.

It's possible, but my money is on the ball joint. I replaced all eight of my front control arms, but it wasn't until I replaced the ball joint, that the click disappeared.

Thanks,
I too have this problem, mine is on 2011 awd with about 110km (66kmiles) on it have noticed it's way more frequent when car is more loaded with a few passengers.
Only have had car for 2 months, and car has been to a Toyota dealership to check, tech was able to replicate on drive but not while on hoist. He didn't have much time to spend on it that day but said ball joints checked OK.

Roadfrog, were your ball joints noticeably worn? Was there play in them, was there a tell tale sign that they were the culprits or did you just change them?
