on my way to a festival today and at the red light a brand new BMW i8 was next to me. The better half could not take her eyes off this car. My question is would you buy a BMW i8 or LC500 h

As someone who has spent a few weeks driving the i8 recently, its nice, but the novelty wears off quick. The interior leather wears very easily, and it is stiff. Its fun, gets lots of attention, but getting in and out becomes a chore. If it will be a weekend car, maybe but $100k for a weekend car? There are much better options for that. Much faster, more practical.

Personally I would wait for the LC and test drive it. I wouldn't consider an i8 unless it was much less money.

For example, the i8 I had had less than 6k miles, and the right camera was broken, and the windshield washer fluid was throwing an error saying it was empty when it wasn't. Less than 6k miles on a $162k car.. No thanks.
