LS460 with no Nav?!!

While I find it pretty cool there are non nav 460's out there, by 2007, for the flagship model that best case cost $60,000 not to have both nav and a backup camera is somewhat lamentable. While the nav I never use, the backup camera I use often at crowded shopping centers, etc. While yes you can certainly add some sort of aftermarket solution, it is just not the same.
The other issue will arise when it comes time to sell the car and the vast majority or interested parties will always choose one with nav/backup and most likely the Mark Levinson system over a truly base model.

My USA 2008 was one of the first when the 2007 year ended, so I do not have SAT, Bluetooth, or NAV. My other vehicle (Avalon) has all three. I'd love to have SAT but I have a 6-CD changer! Not too many of those these days! I do use the 1/8 inch plug from an nice SONY MP3 player and get a ton of music from it. Sounds great with the basic stereo too. I've got 28,000 miles and everything works like it did when new.

Having more than just the LS I don't miss what it doesn't have. I do have almost everything Toyota offers on my Avalon. On long trips out to the land of $5 per gallon gas we take the Avalon. For just going around town we use the LS, so we don't need the NAV, and we're not in the vehicle long enough to use SAT or the seat heaters. Can't complain. Everything works and the car looks M-T-Fine as my Dad would say. I am looking at a 2014 or similar in the near future. But keep the LS and the Avalon.

I-5 in CA about between LA and Las Vegas. I took photos of the sign. Use the toilet? That's 50 cents. Drink of tap water? That's 50 cents. If you purchase anything then it's free, so we left with two cokes, two hot dogs, and a huge bag of cheese curls. But no gas.
