Our LS 460L began life at Lexus of Miami and spent 3 years there coming off lease in Mar/Apr 2013. We have zero rust or even hints of it. The only issue we every had was the hard water spots in the trunk lid channel.

james, just a quick note on south florida

any where from the palm coast down to ft lauderdale would be better to buy a used car in south florida.
some things to consider below

miami lot of crazy driving and chances are good the car may be hit
the owners of the cars in miami you have to be selective have a mentality to live for today without taking care of cars like some of the people would on the forum

the workmanship in some of the lexus dealers south of jm lexus in margate are not like the other dealers.

so consider carefully and do your research if it was hit , any paint work, and how it was maintained
