I use and love the feature, and miss it when I drive the van which doesn't have it. More and more cars have it, my cousins 2016 Civic has it.

As for the LX, well... the absence of this feature is one of my little pet peeves even though I do love the new truck. I need to look further into it, but the other day, something did engage on a steep hill, achieving the same effect as Brake Hold, except there is no such feature. Not sure if it's part of Hill Assist. But I digress...
FYI the 4GS does not have brake hold. If you press the brake hard down it will hold it for a couple seconds, thats hill start assist which you found on your LX, the 4GS has that but not brake hold.

Thank you for the clarification, Steve. It's actually the GS450h that I saw the Brake Hold feature in (and should've known better that Lexus would, of course, do this and keep it off the GS350/200t).

What I found in the LX (separate discussion) I have not researched yet (though I certainly will), but it held steadily until I tapped the accelerator. I know the feature you're talking about; this definitely held longer, and I am very intrigued.
