Awesome! Do you have any pictures of the front end with that LED strip lit?

Yeah, I agree. I had to make a call on the gloss. I didn't want it too glossy, and asked to make it less so. I feel it would have been great with full gloss. I don't get to re-do. Maybe the next person will do the full gloss and we can compare. Overall, it turned out OK.

Thanks! The LED strip never worked, and both the dealer and other shops suggested I don't bother trying to get it to work. Too expensive and everyone thought it was a bit too much bling and not fitting for an LS.

Looks amazing. I think you made the right choice with slight matte finish to offer a bit of contrast. "And contrast is, after all, God's own plan to enhance the beauty of his creation."

Thank you! It was hard to know what to expect with the gloss, especially since I have not seen a Nightfall grille in person. I figure the "bumper" part will get a bit more of a shine when I put clear protection film on it.

Thanks, I am glad I did this mod. I was considering blacking out the grille for a while. Seeing the Nightfall grille convinced me to do it. The Nightfall grille looks glossier. But lighting makes a big difference, so it's hard to know without inspecting it in person. For many CLers, this is probably DIY, but I don't have the skills to pull it off.

I think you made the right choice by getting a pro to do it. If you want it to look factory then it needs to really be painted exactly like you did.
