1WILLY1: Cheapest place will be your local tire shop. Check around at your local shops. BigO Tire here was cheapest for me. They warranty mine for two years, Mine are just over that, so I'll have to pay for replacement. I paid about 250 dollars for all four installed (tires re-mounted, balance, etc.)
Thanks man, ill check around then , maybe even Canadian tire

Presents are out of the trunk! Aired the spare to 37 and the TPMS warning went immediately out.

Weird.

i agree with you 100% i took mine and cars feels a tad lighter, less stress on your rear suspension also if you have a triple a its a no brainer, just tow it to the local tire shop

You don't need it until you need it.

Exactly. Besides, doesnt the TPMS go into fault if it cant read a missing sensor?

Better to have it and NOT need it........ rather than needing it and NOT having it!

Picture attached of all reading the same and that one being a fault.

How do you check tire pressure on the OBC like this? My tire warning light is on but I didnt know you could check the tire pressure like.

You scroll through the screens in the gauge cluster display by hitting the DISP button on the steering wheel. If you have an 07-12 LS it will give you the pressures but not in any sort of order.

Correct. The reading is not in order.
When my TMPS warning light turned on (blinking light first then turned into solid warning light) I couldn't access the tire pressure section. Instead, it tells you to take it to a Lexus dealership. Just had the dealer look into my TMPS sensor battery coz I had 3 warning lights in the past 3 months.
Funny thing was the light came on but the tire pressure reading on all four above 40 and the spare reading 33.- checked manually with digital tire pressure gauge immediately after the warning light on. Warning light went away after a few minutes of driving.

My spare was the "first reading" on the display....... the spare tire was in the factory location.

The "Low Pressure Warnings" that some of you are experiencing are not caused by sensor problems. They are occurring because one or more of your tires are under inflated or because one or more of your warning thresholds are set too high. It's pretty simple stuff.

If you're referring to me you didn't read my post. My issue was that the spare was throwing a low pressure warning when all the other tires were the same pressure and not throwing warnings, and the spare continued to throw the warning even after I reset the thresholds multiple times. It wasn't until I inflated the spare significantly over the rest of the tires that it stopped throwing the warning.

Then I don't see how you're correct. How can you say my issue is with my tire being under inflated, when it was the same pressure it was before it started throwing the low pressure warning, and was the same pressure as the 4 other tires which were not throwing low pressure warnings? All of a sudden my car just decided that pressure which had been okay was no longer okay, but only for that one wheel.

How can you say my issue was with thresholds set too high when I reset them several times and the tire continued to throw the low pressure warning?
