trying to install vline unit. I don't see how to route to glove box. The cabin air filter hole in the back is too far back to route into it and the rest is carpeted with no holes, help!

 

If you take out the glove box, you can pop open an access door on the bottom left corner. Panel can only can be popped from the left/back side by lifting the tabs. Glove box is easily removed. Three screws behind the wood trim and three screws below the glove box.

 

You actually don't need to remove the whole glovebox, you can just remove the panel and feed the wires through.

 

Got everything installed and routed nicely. Only question is, some members had CarPlay and I do not see a way to install it?

 

Can you please share a picture of where the access is in the glove box.
Also any input how I can go about getting the Grom unit in the Glove box to connect to factory head unit

I don't have a vline setup but, if it does not come with it, I would take to the company to see if you just need a dongle for it...
