Depending on the year, the door panels may be covered under a Lexus factory recall. I believe the 07's and some 08's fall into that category. You may be entitled to four new door panels for free. My car falls into that category, but I haven't bothered to call a dealer about it yet. I have a small crack where my elbow sits on my door panel arm rest...but the car is almost ten years old with 140,000 miles...it's not a big deal to me, yet I might get them replaced anyway.

Lexus issued a extended warranty offer for certain dashboards and door panels which crack and/or become sticky - so you should check to see if your vehicle is covered. The replacement parts are still in short supply as I have been on the parts waiting-list for over a year.

The notice from Lexus was titled "Warranty Enhancement Program – (Phase 1 – Reimbursement) - ZLD"
