Once more quick detailing question - as far as the cleaning mitt/sponge goes... What kind should I use to prevent putting swirls in the black paint? I don't recall seeing that info in the guides. Also, here in FL we have hard water, so water spots are common. Do I get a water softener/filter or just regular water and make sure to chamois off the water after?

My detailer gave me a merino wool was mit it's super soft but obsidian black is so tough! I wouldn't buy another. It does look great when it's clean though. My detailer calls is Obscene black instead of obsidian because it's so hard to keep swirl free. I do the washing every week and he does the swirl correction once or twice a year.
i would also recommend the microfiber madness dry me crazy towel for drying. I believe it is one of the highest rated if not the highest rated towel among detailing forums across the board. It's really nuts. Does an amazing job and it's super soft. I could get away doing my 460L with one big one.
