Good choice! I always liked the look of those multi-spokes. A good compromise between blacked-out wheels and having some much needed contrast.

I really like your original wheels a lot, but these are pretty sharp. And I definitely prefer my wheel upgrades to be factory wheels from another year or model, vs aftermarket wheels. Not only do you get the benefit of factory quality, but if one gets messed up some years later, you know you'll be able to replace it easily. With aftermarket wheels, you may find they've been discontinued and then you have a real search on your hands...

The black pillars are a big improvement.

Thats precisely my thinking…I know I can always find a replacement on ebay or something. i just preferred the darker/multi spoke set to the 5 spoke. If you know anyone looking for a set of 5 spokes let me know. Also I agree the chrome pillars had to go!

Meh....in the forty years of car ownership (ALL with aftermarket wheels I've put on), that has never been an issue. About 18 cars/trucks in all. These days, there are almost no cases where a local wheel shop can't fix a wheel. Average cost is about 150 bucks. I've had three wheels straightened and one repaired for severe curb rash. No need to replace them anymore. Having a car with aftermarket wheels is the only thing that separates me from any other LS owner out there and "personalizes" my ride. Short of a custom paint job, it's about the only thing that can.

As for "factory quality".....factory wheels are made by aftermarket companies. For example Lexus wheels over the years were made by Enkei and they also produce the wheels for many other Japanese car makes such as Acura. BBS makes many of BMW's and other European marques. And so on.

"wow an F sport LS how cool" I just laughed!
Now that you're all squared away, it would be pretty cool if some of the posters added a pic of their wheels to the thread.
