Sprint Booster
Has anybody put one on their LS460? I have one on my 4 Runner, which works well as described. They sell it for the LS460 and I'm curious. How about your other cars? Anyone using one? I found one person in search who likes it. The rest are just calling it stupid but SHOCKER they never even tried it.

Please tell me this isn't along the same lines as the "Turbo Intake Fan"? Or some other "snake oil" add on?

Edit: NM, I googled it. basically this device simulates that you're pressing down on the accelerator more than you actually are. Caution though, there are numerous posts on the BMW forums, where this device immediately set off a bunch of problem codes, lights, etc. One member said that their engine shook violently after installing it. Seems this device would duplicate what you would "feel" when you switch your ECT button to "PWR" .

Correct I forgot about the power mode. My 4 Runner doesn't have a power mode swich so the sprint booster works magic since it's not a V8 and there's plenty of pedal travel before you get moving. A sprint booster just remaps your throttle. It works perfect and sets no codes at least in my 4 runner.

Pricey ($290) little "black box" that appears to do nothing as far as performance gains..... However they claim huge performance gains on the "Butt Dyno"
