That car is in rougher shape than I thought (or how you described it). The wheels are supposed to be UNDER the car! You have bigger problems than we thought........

My toddler age boys eat and drink it my back seat and all but tear it up. But a few minutes of digging the gold fish, cheeze its and milk drip stains out of the back and it's looking like new. A regular interior cleaning can do wonders. A wash and spray wax every couple weeks keeps me in the game too.

That comes off a little harsh.....

I think he's making an observation based on his experiences with previous Lexus air rides. Specialist or not, It should not feel, "bouncy".

as for the control arms....get those replaced ASAP. My lower control arms went bad on my 96 LS and I put off replacing them for a while and it just eats your tires up. All my tires were brand new and went bald within 4 weeks. Put some used still "like new" tires on and again they were destroyed withing a month.

yes, actually i am! i work with the electronics in the cars though not the mechanical stuff but im learning slowly. i could show you guys all kinds of wild stuff you can do with your cars, hidden features that are not in the owners manual etc.

thing is this. i know Ls400s inside and out, and i know the current gen Ls460s like the back of my hand. but the early ones (07-09) interest me the most and im still a baby with those. finally, the early ones are in my budget so im searching. there is a very good chance that i am going to end up with the one i posted, upside down or not lol.

for example, if your car is 2015+, you have the lexus enform remote already embedded in the firmware, you can train your voice control system to recognize you, and if you have an iPhone, if you hold the talk switch for a few seconds, siri pops up. i know the ins and outs of these cars pretty well, and one reason they chose me for this position is because i actually know my way around some of the older navi / telematics systems that are kind of confusing to a lot of folks.
i work at a undisclosed lexus dealership in florida, but its not too hard to figure out haha!

Since he is a Lexus technology specialist means he probably works for a Lexus dealership with all the other Lexus experts and mechanics. I'm sure they can answer his questions because he works with pros that service and maintain our 460's. His co workers have the answers and solutions. The dealership will charge us a fee to diagnose our problems. Just my opinion.

yes, I work at a dealership but that's not why im here. im an enthusiast first.
actually, I was selected for my position because I actually know my stuff. I used to be in sales but was transferred to this position cause I know a little too much for my own good haha. ive been around lexus cars for many years and know them well. most people come to me when they cant figure something out. I really don't do diagnostic stuff, I do technology tutorials to help folks know there cars better. oh and it wont cost you to come see me here. im kind of my own department.

if you guys ever have a tech question, feel free to ask. LS drivers are family. we watch out for eachother. im only here to help. don't jump to assumptions so suddenly.
