Default What exactly does "Enhanced Interior Heater" mean?

Hi All,

I'm new to Lexus and just bought a used (oh, sorry, 'pre-owned') LS 460. It has some options that I'm looking for clarification on.

For example, with the Cold Weather Package, there are 3 items listed:
Windshield Wiper Deicer
Enhanced Interior Heater
Higher-Capacity Battery

Now when I try to find out more details on them, Googling returns nothing. What does 'higher capacity' mean? More cranking amps? Also, what does Enhanced Interior Heater mean? Bigger coolant hoses going to the heating core? And also, what exactly is Windshield Wiper Deicer? Is there a heater in the wiper arms?

Many thanks to anyone who can shed more technical and detailed information on what these items really mean.

Thanks!

This link might be helpful as to the "enhanced interior heater": https://www.cars.com/articles/2013/0...terior-heater/

"Higher Capacity Battery" usually refers to a battery with more capacity. Battery capacity is typically rated in Amp Hours.

I believe that the "windshield wiper deicer" is a heating element along the bottom of the windshield, where the wipers rest, that is invoked through the climate control screen.
