I've had my Matador Red 2013 LS 460 AWD F Sport for about two weeks now. It seems to get attention that I never had with my Flint Mica 2006 LS 430.

First time was a family of three who stopped and admired the car asked all kinds of questions remarking what a beautiful car it was. Yesterday, I went to the barber shop and parked right outside. The barber remarked on how he'd never seen an LS in that color.

I'm in Los Angeles and don't recall ever seeing a red LS and almost never see a 2013-2016 LS of any color. A search of the classified turn up very few F Sports for sale and none in red.

Anyone know what the sales numbers are?

The F Sport in general is very rare, the matador red F Sport, even rarer.

Rare or not, that's one nice looking car. I've had one red car and it was a 1980 Volvo DL. Loved that car. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks! Found no ding on the car. One very small paint chip at the edge of the LF headlamp, probably from a rock. I'll get some touch-up paint.

Lexus has had a series of good reds. If I had been able to choose the color of my '08 I would have chosen Noble Spinel Mica. There's a LS460L near me in that color and it's striking.

That's really nice! I'm not really a fan of red or maroon cars, but it does look pretty awesome on the LS, just because I've never seen one like that before, ever.

What would you guess, five percent of all LS' in that color? It might even be less in my opinion. Assuming a 30k population of all 2013+ LS', that's just 1500 cars total so far in that color. The chances of you seeing another one driving past you are slim to none.

I'm positive my black one will simply get lost in the sea of black sedans. That red will really stand out for sure.

Here in south Florida there's ton of white and black fsport but never saw a red one before. That's a very rare color to see
