New member - Looking for an LS460 sport

I contacted the owner of this car. Seems like they are the second owner but auto check shows 3 owners oldie enough... perhaps the Lexus dealership which certified the car was considered the 2nd owner.
Also, owner damaged the right front fender due to hitting something in the garage (saw the photos). They repaired the damage but I am wondering if the repainting of a fender brings the car value down. Any thoughts on this from members would be appreciated.

you need to check Carfax and if it shows up then definitely it should affect the value of the car. this might be the reason Autocheck is used. if not and it was fixed right (e.g. with lifetime warranty) then probably should not affect the value much. Keep in mind that if this car has Lexus warranty and something broke next to the repair, dealer will give you hard time. Been there...Good luck!

Even Carfax is hit or miss IMO. Usually dealer services are logged because they voluntarily do it in exchange for the dealers to pull free reports.
I'm not sure how accidents are logged, but I had a friend who was in an accident and he pulled his own Carfax a few years later while trying to sell it and it didn't show up.
Not sure if it's related to a police report or voluntary insurance notification or what, but we thought it was rather interesting.
I pulled my own carfax for my previous car and it indeed reported correctly in my case. It showed, surprisingly, all of the major services done at the Acura dealership, including strut replacement, service recalls and the notorious timing belt replacement. I had no accidents and it showed none correctly.
