I have an apt with the dealership on Friday. I think I found the problem per your suggestions,

I'm going to see what they have to say and probably DIY per your suggestions. I only live 10 mins from dealership and I getting a loaner car. Plus, I always have them run my car through the car wash.

It's hard to tell from the picture exactly what has happened. But, it looks like the window gasket will have to be replaced.

You'll probably have to have a dealer or independent replace the rubber gasket that goes around the top and sides of the glass.

They are going to fix the problem for like 300 bucks. The entire Window gasket had to be replaced? They are giving me a discount due to me being in there before for the same type of window / wind noise.

The Tech said he only sees this problem with the drivers side window for the most part.

Probably because the driver is more likely to identify the issue. If we were driving a British spec'd car, the other side would be identified more as having an issue. Both sides of the car are identical with respect to design.

DId you attempt a fix yourself before resigning it to a dealer? For such a cheap, quick and easy attempt, I would have done that first.....especially since the dealer may not cure the issue you're having to your satisfaction.

No, I did not, It was more than the triangle piece. The lining was messed up as well.
