On the Grom mod, is the ML system still used for audio? After installation, are there any visible parts of the system (other than the screen views)? Did you install yours, or an audio shop?

i am seriously considering this mod but trying to get my head around how it will look when complete. Not sure about the gps and mic that have to be located in the cabin.

thanks-

Yes, it uses the cars ML audio so you can either be on the AUX input for the Grom/VL2 interface or the stock system audio not both at the same time. Meaning you can't use the stock FM/Sat radio and Google maps/Waze on the VL2 at the same time. So you can have to use Pandora or any music app instead, if using the VL2 for navigation. I had it professionally installed (because I'm not one to do anything myself) but it is a plug and play easy installation if you're a DIYer. As far as the gps/mic in the cabin, I just see a small square module on my dash which blends in and doesn't bother me. I'll take a pic for you later after work.

All that being said, I had my moments where I was fed up because it needed several OTA updates to work out bugs. Still not sure it's bug free. But it's been stable for me for a couple of months now. I think it's slightly expensive however there aren't really any other better options out there IMO. Whether it's worth the price to you is subjective.

Wheels, tires, drop which is going to be expensive and will likely effect ride quality.

Other then that a after market grill, painting grill, body kit, spoiler.

Painting calipers is a cheap mod.

I think Exhaust Vents are a must for any LS 460!
