Default Starter change require tire removal?

I had my starter replaced today and now am hearing some weird rattling sounds coming from front tires. Do you need to remove any of the tires to get to the starter? I thought I read that somewhere. Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks

A lot of things get removed, including suspension components and tires.

So yeah I'm getting some rattling from the front left tire area. Sounds like strut rattle or something. Took it back to the shop and they said they didn't remove any tires or anything. BS. What exactly gets removed?

I don't even feel like going back there just trying to get my car back to normal. What sucks is I was about to trade my car in 2 weeks ago for a 2013 F Sport and as I'm driving to the dealership they call and say they sold it. FML.
