Hi All!

I have an issue with buttons on radio and climate are no lights.
It looks light light diodes are gone.

any ideas if I can replace it?

From what I recall, there isn't a way to replace any of the units bulbs in the unit, as the entire unit has to be replaced.
I belive there are used one's on eBay, but not sure of the price.
Of course going the dealership route, you'll be sure to incur a much higher financial burden.

 

I went through this with my LS460. The service manager said that because the button lights were integrated with the navigation unit, the whole unit would have to get replaced. And that's what I had done. I also had to have my disk drive replaced because it was incompatible with the replacement nav unit. Finally, because the new drive had an older map version than the replaced drive's, the dealer had to purchase the newer map version and apply the update.

I have a CPO LS460 and all the parts and Labot' were free. IIRC, the refurbished nav unit would have cost $1500.

 

Does United Radio fix this issue? Crossed fingers.....mine has not failed me.

This is actually a great question.
As Gbp mentioned, the "refurbished" unit would have been $1500, so someone has to work on them and it would make logical sense that perhaps UR may address this issue.

Isn't it all LED 03+ ? Can't imagine there are bulbs in any of those.
