I've had the Oliver vents (doubled up) for a few years now and still loving the sound. And reversible in minutes if I feel the need to make it oem again.

I had the mufflers removed on my ‘07 LS and the sound is pretty amazing from the engine, has a nice deep sound and sounds really powerful and not too loud at idle. I agree with most of the others who have done the muffler delete that at low rpm’s when accelerating there is a noticeable drone, however I find it tolerable. It helps that startup and idle is so mean but pretty refined sounding and when I’m accelerating hard It sounds fantastic. For a really cheap project, you get a lot of really deep good sound. Obviously this is all my opinion, and being 29 I am looking to make the LS a bit more fun and sporty over quiet and refined.

Getting rid of the drone is intriguing. Anyone have a video of muffler delete with the j pipes? Just read through this thread and haven’t seen anything yet
