Great read! The 460 was made for the open road and road trips, I always found the 460 has what I like to call a sneaky fast. If you are cruising along or going with the flow of traffic you can find yourself well above the posted speed limit. Here in Atlanta the average speed is around 75-80 and I'm not exaggerating of course this during after traffic hours.

Hey TB, for some reason I never saw this thread until just now. Congrats on the new car and I wish you good luck with it.
It sounds like you are really enjoying it.
I like that route you have planned - Lake George- Montreal- Quebec City - Mt Washington , Portland, Boston. I think I will be doing a very similar itinerary this summer. We haven't been to Montreal in years, and my wife has never been to Quebec City (I know she would love it).

I had to go to Pa today, on the way back I took a small road going into Catskills to cruise a bit since I had a day off. What I didn't know that it was gonna snow as much as it did. I got cough off guard a bit. Roads very slippery and I had 30 miles till I got to a highway. Still it was thrill and I enjoyed the drive very much.
Car got 27 mpg on a 350 mile drive.
I think of the the hons got wet or just died. I'll have it changed next oil change .
Other than that. Great day .

Finally did a road trip I wanted to do for a while.
Headed out to lake George for the night, dinner , drinks , rest.
In the morning we went up to lake Placid. Did a mild hike which was wonderful and then headed south taking 30.
Car was wonderful as always.
Got 513 miles on a tank, 28mpg. After driving the car for 8 hours I felt fine and amazed how smooth and comfortable this car is.
Looking forward to Cape Cod trip I have planned in July.

Glad to see you enjoying the car! Looking forward to taking some trips in mine. Little harder nowadays with the twins, lots of pressure to take the van.
