Front control arm bushing replacement - is this inevitable on a 2007?

There are many cars that suffer bad control arm bushings but one thing I have found is that those variant's with AWD or larger engine sizes that add extra weight to the car can prematurely wear them out much earlier. Not saying that is the case but it needs further investigation.
