Anyone have this Rear trunk Spoiler?

How about the roof spoiler?

How do they look? Any thoughts?

I got the DAR roof and trunk spoiler and they look fantastic. Paint is perfect. Fitment is perfect. And best of all it looks like it came from the factory that way(in my bias humble opinion)

I bought the small DAR spoiler and I tried putting it on and ended up taking it off because the ends wouldn't stay down. Then I took it off, cleaned off all of the tape, took it to a Pro and it does the same thing. It doesn't seem to fit right on our trunk.

I will say though, that they did an Amazing job on the Starfire Pearl. I was Impressed with that.

Do you have any pictures of yours that you could share or some installation tips Please?

I don't have the roof or trunk spoiler but I'm thinking about installing both. Will it fit proper and stay down is concerning? The spoilers definitely enhances the LS appearance.

IMO the Dallas Automotive ones are the nicest and best deal out there. $450 - $500 for both pieces painted is well worth it.

I think they look great and improve the looks. But maybe I am a little too cautious.
On the few factory spoilers I have seen on cars none of those were installed with just 3m tape. They were bolted to the trunk. I would worry a bit about it coming off on the interstate and causing an accident. Of course then getting sued and insurance not covering it since it was and aftermarket item.
The one I was looking at a few months back had a disclaimer that they be bolted on the car for liability reasons. This was just to cover them because there was no way to do it with that brand and it came with just the 3m tape.

I know some other Lexus models came with trunk lips. Like the first IS300. Does anyone know if that came from the factory with 3m tape or was it bolted on?

If it was tape it would make me feel safe with doing it the same way.

i don't think it will ever fly off, but that being said i will be going through to epoxy my edges to keep them seated and looking good.

it is, after all, automotive 3m tape, which is what's used to hold on all the fake hood scoops on mustangs etc.
