OP here. Thanks for the link jamodeo. I fully charged the battery (Batteryminder) Friday. Today after driving Saturday (two hours), Sunday, yesterday and today (half hour each day) the battery measures 12.62 volts (fully charged) after sitting for two hours and the parasitic draw measured with a clamp on ampmeter measures about 70ma. Given all the electronics in the LS, this is close enough to the max of 50ma quoted by Eric the car guy that I won't go pulling fuses looking for it. I don't know how the previous owner used or abused the battery, so I will just keep an eye on it.

I have Battery Minder trickle chargers on my '87 Corvette and my '95 Harley that I don't drive often, but the LS460 gets driven at least 20 miles almost every day. If that isn't enough to keep the battery charged it needs fixing, not charging.Originally Posted by mishutka
