Default Trade LS 430 Sport for LS 460 Sport

I have a 2004 LS 430 Sport with 43,000 miles that is a great car that I have no problems with. I had not even thought about getting anything else until a 2010 Lexus LS 460 Sport became available with 10,000 miles at a good price. I was wondering about the reliability of the 2010 and also was unsure about the air suspention for the long haul. I'm sure the 460 drives better and is faster, but the 430 has been and is a great car!.What do you think guys? Thanks.

Go for it! Once you use those massive Brembos to pull some serious stopping G's you will be hooked!

I love the stopping power of the brembos but they are a little bit too grippy if you wanna do a smooth slow braking. They just wanna grab the rotor. lol.

Based on experience you should be good to go on the air suspension for about 15 years if you plan to keep it that long. Awesome cars but if the air suspension on the 460 is anything like the 400, as cool as it is, I would avoid it when they really start getting up there in age. No doubt Lexus makes the greatest cars in the world but everything has a shelf life. The real issue with the 460 is that they simply haven't aged long enough to tell. I honestly think as the 460 ages it will have its own list of unique weird old Lexus problems but it won't be anything that will affect the drivability of them. Only time will tell.
