Have you taken your car to a dealer yet? My VSC check light came on today as well and a check VGRS light. it didnt say pull over immediately or anything jsut says to take the car to a dealership. Hopefully its an easy fix! I will be trying a new battery as other people said. Let you know how that goes

So the all lights came back on last night and the car is back at the dealer today. Hopefully my warranty company will approve the repairs since it's the same problem within a week. I'm keeping my fingers cross

I believe those are used actuators.

Yep. I could replace them 3 times for the price of a new one though. Most used parts still come with a warranty. I mean, my whole car was used when I bought it! LOL

Thank you all for your replays .. I checked the battery and its fine .. so finally I took it to the dealer and they said its a faulty abs sensor??!!
I paid 280$$ to get it replaced and everything is good now..

Good news! Almost as cheap as replacing the battery!

Thanks for reporting back. You don't know how many people we at least try to help and never even acknowledge the responses.

After 3 long weeks going back and forward with carmax extended warranty company to pay for the repairs. My car is finally all done and fixed. The dealer end up replacing brake actuator and brake booster pump assembly. The grand total for the whole bill is $5,164.62 and my deductible was only $106. I bought the car from carmax with a 7 years/150,000 miles warranty with a $100 deductible. I have to say it is worth every penny since they just replaced my starter 10k miles ago too.

Talk about winning. .good job. And folks on here think an extended warranty on these cars is a waste of money. .this just proves the value of you intend on keeping the car for a few years..good job bro!!

Well, in fairness "folks on here" are simply observing the advice of pretty much every consumer publication and study that shows these insurance policies seldom pay off. Yes it worked out in the OP's case, but there are far more bad stories than good, and even he says he went back and forth with CarMax for weeks before the approval of repairs.

It's a gamble, but at least it worked out for this member!

This is my first post but I felt I had to share this......
I've enjoyed driving my 2007 LS460 for 5 years now, it has 94,000 miles on the clock and it's a dream to drive. However a month ago I jumped in as usual to depart my office and swung the steering wheel over hard right to depart. Two warning lights came on - just like the 1st post on this topic - and messages appeared on the dash "Check VGRS" and then "Check VSC". I drove home carefully but the car appeared fine.
VGRS = Variable Gear Ratio Steering. It converts the turning of the steering wheel electronically to the rack dependent on forward speed.
VSC = Vehicle Stability Control. Not sure what this does but the cruise control would not work.
I took it into Lexus - thinking this was to be a simple fix of resetting the warning lights - but when they rang me I was shocked!!! They told me it needed a new steering rack and ECU - cost £7,300 - thats $10,000+++ I drove it away in order to work out what to do. The vehicle - in part exchange trade-in - is only valued at about £10,000 but because of the work needed they offered me a paltry £4,000 in part-ex against a low mileage IS300h even though my car is in exceptional external condition. I declned to accept their offer.
Soon afterwards I took a call from the dealer principal who told me he'd discussed this with Lexus UK and was able to do the repair job for £2,800. They want to retain me as a Lexus owner/driver. So thats what I had done this week and I'm a happy bunny again. However I WILL now take out a LEXUS warranty and keep my LS460. I cannot take financial hits like that all the time,

Hello everybody! Question, is there a way to put the navigation in a 2001 LS430 that doesn't have it?
