Dynamic Cruise Control
I'm looking for a fully loaded AWD LS460 and haven't run across many with the dynamic cruise option. Was that option rarely chosen? If you know where I can find one please let me know.
It's time to add a second Lexus to the garage. :-)

And here is an excerpt from one of my posts in that thread-
I have it in my car and I had to special order it from Japan in order to get it. What I was told is Lexus did not ship any Pre-Collision (a $2850 option in '07) equipped cars north of the snow belt. Their reasoning was it would not work in a snowstorm or if snow and ice covered the front sensor.
Being in Boston, the dealer searched as far south as Virginia (the furthest away he would go for a car) and could not find one. I believe it is probably the rarest option, even rarer than the executive rear seat package. It's too bad because for me it is the one option I would not do without. I had to wait over 3 months to get the car, but it was worth it.
Since you are in Iowa, I would think you will have an equally difficult time trying to find a car with this option.

I have to agree with Nospinzone and CJITTY on it is a must have option from here on out for me and looking out of state will be your best bet. A lot of dealers (including Lexus) have NO idea what the car has far as options, learn what to look for in the pics so you won't be wasting your time asking if the car has DRCC or not.

In my opinion, it is worth the search and wait for the dynamic cruise control option. While I was in search for it 8 months ago, I had to wait 3 months to find one with the dynamic cruise control, PCS and AWD equipped in silver/black combination. Finally my local dealer in San Antonio, TX could locate one all the way from Massachusetts. They did an internal trade of two ES350 to get the LS460 I wanted and transported free of cost from MA to TX. So you need not travel to get one instead your local dealer should be able to locate anywhere in the nation and get it for you. Since LS460 is the flagship, they will work with you.
