I also hunted for a filter in our 08. No dice. Moved the seat 16 damn different ways and nothing. Only thing I can figure is the filter is actually part of the fan assembly. Meaning you would have to drop the fan down to access the filter. I even unhooked the upholstery retainer and fished around. If it's there it's hiding.

Not sure how different the 460 seat designs are but if they are serviceable it should be in your manual. Here is a post I made in the 430 forum. They were fairly easy to replace. My 04 has 8 cabin filters. It does make a difference vs old dirty filters.

I had them in my LS430, but the 460 does not. I have looked thru the parts diagrams and it shows no filter for the seats in the 460. The fan motor is one unit with no serviceable parts.

Looking online it looks like you only have the standard cabin filter behind the glove box and a rear filter if you have the executive package.

...or if you have the upgraded rear seat package, which includes rear A/C

Default LS460 seat filter

Does anyone know how to remove the seat filter for the ventilated seats in a LS460?

8892150020 Is the part number. I have an '08. You just have to be patient and feel around under the seats and the filter just twist off and Twists back on, very simple....a little annoying. But it's a easy to do. Especially with the upcoming warmer months. Mine were really dirty.

Oh nice. It does have a filter. I think we were under the impression it did not. My fronts were pretty dirty when I did mine too.

Did you reach from the front or the rear? Is it in the center or off to the side?

I'm confused, are there seat filters or not? I know the LS430 have filters for both front and rear seats, but I thought the LS460's do not.

Check this link:

From what I'm getting it is the same filter for the front and back, if equipped.
