FWIW, dealers take the shift ***** of the LS cars on the lot because they are easy to steal. They usually return them once the vehicle is sold or a test drive.

Don't forget to check offleaseonly.com down here in Florida. I haven't been there yet, but they have a ton of cars at cheap prices. I see the tags everywhere down here in palm beach.

Who steals them, how do they manage to pocket them without the salesperson noticing, and for what purpose are they stolen? FTR, I've NEVER seen an LS without its shift ****, either temporarily or permanently. Must have something to do with the kind of dealer and WHERE the lot is.

I have seen a few on autotrader and last weekend I was at a Lexus dealer and the brand new showroom floor LS was missing it. They must be hot items to sell on eBay!!
I thought it was weird at the time.

Learn something new every day. Next time I'm at the dealer, I'll ask about the disappearing shift *****. Wild.

I've seen tons of missing ***** on LS's for sale online and in person. Seller hides them for safe keeping. Pretty easy to remove. Just unscrew it and you're off.

A lot of grimmy people are out there and anyway they can make a buck. Shift ***** sell on ebay for a pretty good price, 60-120 bucks for a **** is the reason they would steal the ****, floor mats, extra key fobs and even owners manuals.

I used to export cars and all those items usual get stolen in transit.

I have looked at them too...but the bad reviews scare me. Also the fact that many of the LS's they have listed have ***Previous Accident*** in the vehicle description which isn't that attractive...

If you ever go to Manheim auctions (at least the big one in PA) they always take the shift **** off and when you buy the car, they have the ****, keys, etc. for pickup after you pay.

Good to know that u sound like you're semi familiar with this place since I have noticed they have quite a few LS L's and was wondering what was up with them. They have other 2010s but I have certain options I'm looking for so I can wait. ...I guess

I think the price is right for that car. In fact it could be a little high. Remember the new LS is out so the older ones should drop in value a bit. I bought my 07 in 2010 with 32k miles on it for $38,999. It is a SWB though but is relatively with loaded. I think its a great car at a good price. I would beat them up on price a bit. See if you can get a couple grand off

damn just saw the update. It wasnt meant to be . There is a better one out there for you. Are you set on the 460L?? I would tell you to go with the L. Air suspension would be enough reason for me on top if the extra room in the back. Good luck buddy

Yea I'm pretty dead set on a 2010 460L. Although the only thing I would possibly bend on is the 460 Sport. So you think the air suspension makes a big difference in the ride? I have yet to drive an LS w/o air.

YES!! I drove both and it's a huge difference.. I first drove one with air and then drove one without.
I couldnt feel any bumps in the road with the air but when I took the same route with the one with no air I was shocked.. Don't get me wrong the LS without air is still a great ride it's just SO MUCH BETTER with air.. Im in search of a used LS right now and I won't even look at one without air..
