Default LS460 on 22

I'm getting ready to get the LS460 and I would like to put 22" rims on it. My question is do anyone have problems with 22" rims rubbing. If someone has 22" rims that doesn't rubb and didn't have to have anything done to the car please give me the tire size you have. I just think putting 22" on the LS460 will give you a better look.

Have you looked at this thread? It is one of the stickies listed at the top of this forum. This should give you more than enough info...

If they are too wide in the rear they will rub at stock ride height due to the stick suspension being too soft. If the offset is wrong up front they will either rub or stick out pass the fender. Do your homework and use the above sticky to see your ootions.

I had 22 inch Vossens on my LS460...they didn't rub because I had limited production tires...then got a nipple on one of the tires and replaced the tires, they ended up rubbing pretty bad.

When I took it in to get an alignment, because I put the stock rims back on...the guy told me my suspension was damaged from hitting potholes with those tires.

Potholes can damage suspension with oem wheels..ask anyone in New York, Detroit, Milwaukee or other areas around the country

I have Vossen 22s and Tanabe Springs. I will rub in the rear while turning moderately if I have 2 people in back. Normal everyday driving with just a front passenger I usually never have an issue.
