I'd really like to know if I could fit that steering wheel on my old car. Looks great!

Tooling on the sand for SIX MILES at Daytona was great! Ocean left, bathing beauties right, and smiles all around!

The guy i bought the house from was a car nut: I've got 9 spaces for cars (3 up, 3 down, 3 in the carriage house). I've only got three filled, but at least my other kids can park inside when they visit.

You actually drove the LS on the sand? Cool! I didn't know anybody would let you do that unless it was a truck or SUV...

must have a been a great trip. Must have been nice to enjoy that kind of time behind a beautiful car like that. I love my LS but I max out at about 1000 miles in a weekend.

Just wondering with 2013, are you getting decent mpg yet? Meaning on my 07 on a long cruise at 80mph - I could get 28mpg (500 miles to a full tank).

Can't help much with mpg. We weren't traveling to get somewhere, so freeway driving was out. We took A1A (the 30mph beach road) whenever we could on the east coast, US1 (mostly 45mph) to Key West, US41 up the west coast, and 30A along the gulf coast. I hate freeways with a passion as you get no feeling for the places you're going through. I love the back roads where you can stop and talk with folks when something interesting pops up. Best way to travel, IMO.

I would assume mpg should be same as similar models in the 2007-2012 model years as the engine and tranny haven't changed much if at all. I expect 19-20 mpg on average from my 2013 just as I got from my 2007. If it works out differently, I will report it here.
