Angry Engine Hesitation on 07 LS460

What's up guys and gents!

I'm sad to say that I'm driving a 2012 Lexus ES300 for over a week now since I took my baby into Lexus for a blown sub woofer and acceleration hesitation problem I've been experiencing for awhile now. I've had more than a few near accidents when trying to accelerate and I had to take it in. I had the 45k service done not long ago and thought it would remedy the problem but that didn't happen.

I've read through a few threads and noticed the hesitation is and still issue for the 07 and 08 models.

If any of you guys has had this problem with your car, please share if Lexus was able to fix the issue and what was done to do it.

Thanks

FrankyBoy

There's a tsib for a reflash after the valve spring recall that addresses stumbling and hesitation.

My 2007 had a hesitation problem that started one morning. I drove straight to the Lexus dealership and fortunately, my favorite service consultant was working that day. She said there was a new TSIB for hesitation but had not been tried yet and once done, could not be reversed. It worked perfectly. I don't remember the TSIB name.

What about the 30 minute battery disconnect? Try that and then go drive the heck out of it. May solve for you, did one time for me.

Franky whats up? I just bought me a 2010 Lexus LS 460L and drove it for about 60 miles. I stopped at a red light and the vehicle seemed like I had put it in neutral. It then took off after about 5 seconds and it did it once again at the next red light. I am reading your thread and it seems like I am having the same problem as you. I like your wheels and your spoiler, I will be transforming mine as well once I get this problem fixed.

What you're saying is exactly 'one' of the problems I had. I had the 'lag' issue when the car would shift to 3rd and 4th gear and almost caused me to get hit when trying to pass. Not a good feeling at all! Definitely take it in to the shop ASAP!
