Default Anyone pulled the trigger on the '13 yet?

I'm thinking about it. I have an '07 SWB, fully loaded, thinking about the '13 but wonder if there will be major body style upgrades for the '14. Because lets be honest, the '13 is just a front/back fascias upgrade. Not a big fan of the joystick style infotainment interface in this iPad era we're in, but better than the past versions. If you already have a '13 model, what can you tell me about the fit and finish of the interior? I've seen it up close at the dealership and I didn't feel it improved much. In fact I was disappointed with the plasticky feel of the glove box latch. Very corolla.

you don't think lexus is silly enough to spend so much money for all these upgrades and only run it for 1 year right?

I've heard there is a different model for '14. They pretty much are releasing every model they have coming out in '13 which isn't normal. Normally they'll say hybrid available in the next model year or the F-Sport but all those models are out. I don't think the joystick is going anywhere for a while.

Well, they were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. So I wonder if their plans had to change for the '13 model, hence the not so drastic changes. Perhaps a fully changed model for '14? If that's the case, I'll wait.

I can't read Japanese, so I don't know if this is true. But if the '14 will resemble a Maybach, it might be wise to wait and see what really happens.

granted I just got my 08 SWB about a month ago (my first LS) I just don't feel the want/crave for the 13 when I check out the pictures and even when I sat in it at the dealer..
as I said before, I think Lexus missed the mark with this one.

when friends ask me what year my car is and I tell them 08, they are very surprised as to how new & sophisticated it looks.
I'm one happy 08 LS460 SWB owner.
